My reality is nothing like yours.
What with your presidential "elections"
and your "liberating" wars.
My reality is much more harsh
and hella cruel.
Never thought my pillar of strength
could ever crumble; not fucking cool.
I thought you were supposed
to hold me up, not the inverse.
Difficult to deal with abandonment
felt I had to put it in verse.
That was wrong; real fuck up
what you did.
A real man would never give up on his kid.
My reality has since been filled
with darkness and pain.
Even though its bright out,
I'm crushed beneath torrential rain.
I'm burnt out, think I'll call it a day.

of being left behind.

Into the Rabbit Hole...

I don't really have any specific need that must be met when it comes to sharing my life with the world, I'm a fairly private person. However, I was blessed with the gift of speech; what good is such a gift if not shared with the world? So as of now I will use this site only to host my poems. I do feel as time progresses, I shall feel the need to rant & rave and essentially open up for whoever may be interested. My opinions are my own, that being said, as long as you have positive input, you will be welcomed. I've made it a point to eliminate whatever negativity I can from my life. I can be brash & VERY outspoken at times. While I may have a lot of "not exactly supporting" things to say about something, I don't intend to bash it, unless otherwise mentioned. That being said, all I can say to you is sit back and enjoy yourself and the ride. Allow my angels and demons to dwell in your soul, if only for a moment.
